One of the classical music scene’s most loved and charismatic couples, acclaimed Romanian violinist and violist Clara Cernat and French composer and pianist Thierry Huillet, grace our virtual Enescu Soirees with their awesome passion and artistry invested in a program full of French-Romanian flavors. We are excited to host the world premiere of Voyage Rhapsody for violin and piano, composed by Thierry Huillet while the pandemic ravaged Europe.

A couple in life and art, Clara Cernat & Thierry Huillet dedicated themselves to music, tirelessly exploring the repertoire for violin and piano from the 18th to the 21st century. Their numerous CDs are the reflection of an intense artistic activity that goes through great popular masterpieces and also likes to rediscover magnificent but less well-known composers, to encourage the creation of contemporary composers and to propose a new way of listening to great symphonic masterworks through the pyrotechnic transcriptions for violin and piano written by Thierry Huillet, from Berlioz to Gershwin.
