An irresistible blend of improvisational jazz and oriental folklore
To complement our flagship classical music program, ”The Enescu Soirees of New York”, with a series devoted to contemporary forms of musical creativity, we are thrilled to debut a string of jazz and fusion concerts that, throughout the year, will bring together on our stage some amazing talent from both sides of the Atlantic. The first event of the new series, co-curated by Dan Purcea, presents FOUR CORNERS, the collaborative effort of Romanian-American and American players who blend improvisational jazz and oriental folklore into a unique, irresistible vibe to end the torpor of all winters.
FOUR CORNERS is:
Dan Purcea - guitar
Daniel Vielleneuve - percussion
Stephen Goldbaum - drums
Ramon Radosav - violin
MrG - bass
