Celebrating 25 years of Romania - United States Strategic Partnership
Our newest exhibition, inaugurated during the UN General Assembly, is part of an ample cultural program dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Romania - United States Strategic Partnership and is organized together with the Romanian Embassy to the United States, the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations and the Consulate General of Romania in New York, with the support of the Diplomatic Archives of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Press Agency, Agerpres.
The exhibition and adjacent installation offer a visual chronology of this diplomatic landmark that cemented the long Romanian-American friendship, highlighting some of the most important moments on this exciting journey. We were extremely honored to open it, on September 23, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Bogdan Aurescu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, and Ambassador Cornel Feruta, our new Permanent Representative to the UN.
