The Muses Won't Shut Up: WE STAND WITH UKRAINE

They say that when the guns roar the muses are silent. But not this time – they won’t remain voiceless and impassible when peace is shattered in Europe. We in arts & culture want to express our solidarity with Ukraine and invite you to join in the efforts to alleviate the sufferance of a people subjected to a vicious and senseless attack. If in Romania or the United States, here are two initiatives that would welcome your generosity.

The Embassy of Romania to the US and RUF – Romanian United Fund, with support from other Romanian and Romanian-American organizations, are running a fundraiser benefitting the Ukrainian refugees in Romania. The Ukrainian Peace Fund is meant to provide health facilities with medicines and equipment and families of refugees with food and hygiene items. Read more and donate HERE.

In order to integrate the humanitarian endeavors to provide assistance to refugees arriving from Ukraine, the Romanian government institutions coordinate their actions with the civil society as well as with national and international organizations.
