Diana Jipa & Ștefan Doniga Present “ROOTS” at Carnegie Hall

An exceptional musical dialogue between Romania, Europe, and the United States comes to Carnegie Hall as acclaimed Romanian musicians Diana Jipa (violin) and Ștefan Doniga (piano) present "ROOTS", a specially curated chamber recital at Weill Recital Hall on October 1.

Conceived in the year marking 250 years since the Declaration of Independence of the United States and the celebratory year dedicated to Constantin Brâncuși, the program explores the ways in which tradition, folklore, and cultural memory are transformed into contemporary artistic language. At its heart are two emblematic figures of Romanian culture, George Enescu and Constantin Brâncuși, whose legacies provide the starting point for a broader musical conversation across cultures and generations.
