About The Event

Our program in 2021 takes off with another conversation of the Feraru Conferences series, featuring Ambassador Emil Brix, Director of the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna and influential Central European historian, whose visionary approach has shaped the doctrine and practice of modern public diplomacy. The famous diplomat and  thinker will be accompanied by Michael Haider, the head of the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York and outgoing President of EUNIC New York, in a dialogue about the impact of European values in international cultural relations, the intellectual and practical equipment of the classical diplomat and the cultural diplomat in the technological age, and the role of Central Europe in a world of ebullient identities.

Join us live on Facebook on January 13, 2 p.m. New York & Toronto time / 11 a.m. Los Angeles & Vancouver time / 7 p.m. London time / 9 p.m. Bucharest time. Watch also on our website and other social media accounts after the show.
