Beethoven Rules This Week at the Enescu Soirees

The perennial genius of Beethoven is celebrated in this week's recital at the Enescu Soirees Online, featuring two brilliant young musicians, violinist Mălina Ciobanu and pianist Daria Tudor, ready to offer an evening of passion, prowess, and precision. Alongside Beethoven's Sonata no. 8 in G Major, the program also features the Polonaise Brillante in A Major by Polish composer and violin sensation of the Romantic era, Henryk Wieniawski.

Violinist MĂLINA CIOBANU was born in 1998 and started playing the violin at the age of 7. She studied under the guidance of Prof. Bujor Prelipcean and, starting from 2017, was accepted as a student at the Barenboim-Said Akademie in the class of Prof. Mihaela Martin. She participated in masterclasses given by great violinists like Igor Oistrakh, Zakhar Bron, Pierre Amoyal, Ida Haendel, and Arnold…
