About The Event
We embark on a series of events celebrating 140 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and the United States with a conversation with Senator James C. Rosapepe, one of the most popular U.S. ambassadors to Romania and the Board Chair of Alianta, the indefatigable promoter of Romanian-American relations. The talk, blending Ambassador Rosapepe’s Romanian reminiscences, personal observations, and vision statements, is also the launch of a partnership program between our Institute and Alianta.
Together with his wife, journalist Sheilah Kast, James C. Rosapepe is co-author of Dracula is Dead: Travels in Post-Communist Romania. The Ambassador will also sign copies of the book.
This event is free and seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
